It looks like ADF’s stunt might be backfiring on them. It’s great to know that church leaders who disagree with ADF’s position have the principles and courage to say so. I hope we see much more of this in the coming weeks.

Politician: “I’ll do my best to make abortion illegal. I’ll also do all in my power to deny gays civil rights. In return, the church will remain silent and continue supporting me even when I murder, torture, neglect of the poor, or do anything else you don’t like. Do we have a deal?”

I am glad many, like Walker, answer NO.

(I seem to remember that Jesus was given a similar offer. He turned it down, too.)

Afterthought… I am no way implying that being anti-choice or anti-gay is Christian. Those are just the usual talking points of the RR.

It’s good to know that some people are reminding the ADF that it doesn’t represent all Christians.

Where is your organizations condemnation of Barak Obama for his campaigning from the pulpit? http://www.gopusa.com/theloft/?p=712

It seems that your stand on separation of church and state (for which there is no Constitutional basis) is rather one sided. Your condemnation is limited only to Republicans, not the Democrats.
