I think it would be very important for you to publish a listing of the so-called "faith-based organizations" that are receiving my tax money against my choice. I would like to see names and dollar amounts.
I wrote to President Bush asking for this information and didn’t receive so much as an acknowledgement of the receipt of my letter.

Editor’s Note: As far as we know, no comprehensive list is available to the public that answers this question. A brief report put out by the White House in 2005 says that seven federal agencies distributed $2.15 billion to faith-based organizations in 2005, but no list of grantees was included.
